Supply critical materials for the future.

EXV is a physical metal trader in high-end alloys, trading globally. Our focus is the critical metals and alloys that power the aerospace, chemical, mining and energy sectors.

What we trade

Specification-critical material, in the forms the mills and fabricators actually consume.

Nickel & cobalt

Superalloy grades and master alloys, briquette and cathode, revert and remelt stock.

Titanium

Sponge, ingot and mill product, plus sorted turnings and solids for the remelt chain.

Refractory metals

Molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum and niobium in powder, bar and ferroalloy form.

Stainless steel

Coil, plate and bar in austenitic and duplex grades, plus scrap and remelt feed.

Minor metals

Zirconium, hafnium, rhenium and vanadium — small tonnages, exacting tolerances.

The firm

EXV was set up to do two things well. The metals desk trades high-end alloys and critical metals globally, serving the aerospace, chemical, mining and energy sectors. The real estate arm provides debt and equity across asset classes, both as a lender to other people's projects and as a developer of our own.

The pillars look different from the outside and behave the same from the inside: physical assets, real counterparties, and risk we can describe in a paragraph. We use our own balance sheet, which means we are free to be patient where patience pays and quick where speed is the whole value.

We keep the firm small on purpose. Fewer positions, understood properly, held by the people who underwrote them.
